Senior Developer – gRPC, Kotlin and Connectivity
Senior developer consultant working with Kotlin and gRPC to build secure, cloud-based connectivity for autonomous systems. Shape future mobility with Multiply and VisFlow.
Multiply & VisFlow
Multiply is a technology-driven consultancy operating at the intersection of advanced software engineering, systems design, and data-driven platforms. Together with VisFlow, our product for structured, visual, and traceable technical knowledge, we help organizations build, operate, and evolve complex systems in safety-critical and data-intensive domains.
VisFlow is designed to turn complex technical processes, system flows, and operational knowledge into clear, visual, and connected representations. It enables teams to understand, maintain, and scale advanced systems by linking architecture, data, and operational insight across the full lifecycle — from development and deployment to operations and continuous improvement.
As Multiply and VisFlow continue to expand within autonomous transport and connectivity platforms, we are looking for several senior developer consultants who want to work close to the core of future mobility solutions.
About the Role
In this role, you will work on mission-critical connectivity platforms that enable secure, reliable, and real-time communication between autonomous vehicles and cloud or on-premise systems. Connectivity is a foundational capability for autonomous solutions, and your work will directly impact system reliability, safety, and scalability.
You will be part of assignments where backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, and observability converge. At Multiply, consultants are not isolated resources — you are expected to contribute with technical leadership, architectural thinking, and a strong engineering mindset.
Work model: Hybrid
What You Will Work With
Connectivity platforms forming the backbone of autonomous and distributed systems
gRPC-based communication between onboard and offboard components
Kotlin-based backend services designed for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Secure identity and access management, including certificate-based authentication
Telemetry, metrics, and observability, enabling deep operational insight and proactive incident handling
OTA and deployment mechanisms supporting efficient lifecycle management of autonomous systems
Cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS, containers, and infrastructure as code
Your work will often be visualized, documented, and operationalized through VisFlow, ensuring that complex system behavior, data flows, and operational procedures are transparent, traceable, and scalable across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and evolve secure connectivity platforms between onboard systems and cloud infrastructure
Implement identity and access management strategies ensuring unique, trusted identities for connected units
Build telemetry pipelines capturing connectivity health, latency, and system metrics
Integrate logs and metrics into observability platforms such as Grafana and Databricks
Contribute to robust security practices, including encryption, access control, and continuous hardening
Develop bring-up, deployment, and operational tooling
Implement bandwidth-efficient OTA mechanisms for large-scale deployments
Enable real-time communication with high availability and fault tolerance
Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams with a focus on continuous delivery
