About the Senior Mechanical Designer / Project Lead Position at Multiply
As part of our growing multidisciplinary team, you will take a central role designing sophisticated mechanical solutions and leading projects from inception to delivery. Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering & Project Leadership
- Lead and drive mechanical design projects for customers in advanced industry sectors, ensuring technical excellence and project delivery according to timeline and requirements.
- Develop mechanical concepts, models, and documentation in CAD and PDM/PLM systems, from early idea to finished product.
- Analyze and validate mechanical solutions using prototyping, simulation, and testing methodologies.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering teams, fostering collaboration and a solution-driven approach.
- Serve as a primary contact for customers and partners—ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply structured project management methods and agile approaches where suitable.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering methods, process efficiency, and product quality.
What We’re Looking For – Mechanical Design & Project Management Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least7 years’ experience in mechanical design, product development, or similar roles—preferably with background in consulting or advanced industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery).
- Proven experience leading projects and multidisciplinary teams—delivering results on time and within scope.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent), technical documentation, and design for manufacturability.
- Good understanding of mechanical analysis, tolerances, material selection, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with project planning tools and methods (Agile and/or traditional PM frameworks).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work fluently in both Swedish and English.
- Structured, analytical, and proactive mindset—committed to continuous development and strong results.
Meritorious Skills & Experience
- Experience in digital twin modeling, simulation (FEM/CFD), or mechatronic product development.
- Competence in requirements management, risk analysis, and life-cycle assessments.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, Scrum Master) is a plus.
- Prior exposure to advanced manufacturing, automation, or embedded systems integration.
